Mexico Does Not Extradite, but Sends 29 Drug Traffickers to the U.S. at Request of the U.S. Government
Mexico’s Attorney General confirmed that the 29 drug traffickers requested by the United States were not extradited but sent to the U.S. at the request of the U.S. government.
This decision was made by the security cabinet, not by President Claudia Sheinbaum. Omar García Harfush, Secretary of Security, stated that Mexico has not been overwhelmed in its capacity to administer justice.
